Considering the importance of TCLF (Textile, Clothing, Leather, Fashion) industries in the economy and the trade of the cross-border area, the aim of the project is to further expand an established Structure (the Fashion Hub) that will operate as a supporting mechanism and info-point on the main issues of sustainability and circularity in the entire fashion value chain (design, production, materials and resources management, waste management, reusability and recycling of fashion products).
The Fashion Hub has been established in Thessaloniki – Greece and is operating in bringing together all stakeholders involved in the fashion industry from the cross border area, providing them with new training skills and professional competences. It also facilitates the exchange of innovative ideas and sustainable methods, enhances the know-how transfer and promotes creative thinking and development.
The expansion of the current Fashion Hub that operates in Thessaloniki and the establishment of an antenna in Prilep will implement actions that will be addressed to all stakeholders in TCLF sector and more specifically will address to SMEs, fashion designers, start-ups, students in the fashion sector (clothing, knitting, embroidery, textiles), executives and policy makers.
